I’m Twyla Adkins, and believe it or not,
I’m here because of a “Damn, life’s too short” moment.
As a global IT Project and Program Manager in corporate America, I gave everything to my job until one day, I woke up barely able to see or walk without assistance. It was my first MS episode.
At the same time, my sister was diagnosed with terminal cancer; as creatives, we lamented the many unfulfilled dreams we might never achieve, the projects we’d never pursued, and the art we might never get to make or enjoy.
While I was eventually able to get my symptoms under control, the experience was a wake-up call: I wanted to put my skills and expertise to use, helping creative visionaries get more of their dreams out into the world sooner rather than later.
Today, as a certified Project Management Professional, I continue to leverage my nine years of experience at Global Fortune 500 companies.
